Moroccan flag carrier Royal Air Maroc placed its plan to buy two Boeing Co. 737 MAX jets on hold as the model remains grounded globally, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed source.
The delivery of two 737 MAX aircraft in June will no longer push through, while Royal Air Maroc's two existing aircraft of the same model remain grounded, according to the source.
Boeing's 737 MAX jets remain suspended worldwide following fatal crashes in March this year and in October 2018.
American Airlines Group Inc. recently delayed the scheduled return of its 737 MAX flights until Jan. 16, 2020, which is when it expects software updates to lead to the aircraft's recertification and return to commercial service.
