Whirlpool Corp. said May 25 that it has completed the expansion of its Greenville, Ohio, factory distribution center.
The household appliances company invested $17 million to expand the facility.
The expansion project has almost doubled the size of the facility — from 327,000 square feet to approximately 650,000 square feet.
Michigan-based Whirlpool Corp. uses the Greenville facility to manufacture and export small appliance shipments for its KitchenAid brand.
