Swedish auto safety systems maker Autoliv Inc. said June 8 that its electronic division Veoneer Inc. named Jan Carlson chairman.
The appointment will take effect after the completion of the spinoff, which is expected to be completed June 29.
Carlson, who was appointed president and CEO of Veoneer, is also the chairman, president and CEO of Autoliv.
Robert Alspaugh, Mary Cummings, Mark Durcan, James Ringler, Kazuhiko Sakamoto, Jonas Synnergren and Wolfgang Ziebart will be the other board members for Veoneer.
After the spinoff, Autoliv's president for Passive Safety business segment, Mikael Bratt, will succeed Carlson as the company's president and CEO. The Swedish company's board will include Carlson, Hasse Johansson, Leif Johansson, David Kepler, Franz-Josef Kortüm, Xiaozhi Liu and Ted Senko.
