The eurozone's seasonally adjusted trade surplus expanded to €19.0 billion in July from a revised €17.7 billion in June, according to an estimate from Eurostat.
Exports rose 0.6% month over month to €195.2 billion, while imports were flat at €176.3 billion.
The eurozone's trade surplus in goods with the rest of the world expanded to €24.8 billion in unadjusted terms during July from €16.9 billion in the year-ago period. Exports totaled €206.5 billion, up 6.2%, and imports rose 2.3% year over year to €181.7 billion.
Intra-eurozone trade increased 1% on an annual basis to €165.6 billion in July.
