China International Capital to redeem 2B yuan of bonds

China International Capital Corp. Ltd. plans to redeem 2 billion yuan of bonds that it issued in 2015.

The company said May 15 that it decided to exercise its redemption option, with the bonds to be delisted May 25.

The 5.25% notes have a six-year tenor and bear an option for China International Capital as issuer to redeem after three years.

As of May 15, US$1 is equivalent to 6.38 Chinese yuan.
