Verizon Communications Inc. unveiled TechSure, a smart home security service for its Fios and other high speed internet customers.

The $10 a month tier offers 24/7 phone support for virtually all of the devices connected to a user's network, the U.S. carrier said March 15. TechSure Plus, which costs $15 a month, includes the TechSure services along with identity theft protection, virus protection and parental controls.

The $30 a month TechSure Premium plan includes everything from the TechSure Plus plan and also offers protection for many of the connected devices.

The premium plan also includes LastPass Families, which digitally stores all of a customer's passwords for any of their online accounts.
