Tokyo Kiho Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to ¥19.79 per share, a decline of 44.0% from ¥35.33 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥8.8 million, a decline of 44.0% from ¥15.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 0.7% from 1.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 15.7% on an annual basis to ¥1.31 billion from ¥1.55 billion, and total operating expenses fell 16.5% on an annual basis to ¥1.29 billion from ¥1.55 billion.
Reported net income decreased 57.9% year over year to ¥8.0 million, or ¥18.09 per share, from ¥19.0 million, or ¥42.96 per share.
