Mexico's GDP in the first quarter grew 2.3% year over year, according to final data from statistics agency INEGI that was released May 23.
The final figure is lower than the 2.4% growth announced in April, which used preliminary data.
The GDP of primary activities advanced 5.2% annually in the quarter, while tertiary activities grew 2.9%. As for secondary activities, they ticked up 0.3%.
Compared to the previous quarter, Mexico's GDP advanced 1.1% in seasonally adjusted figures, confirming the growth level announced by INEGI in April.
