Kyoritsu Maintenance fiscal Q4 profit falls YOY

4240511 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 came to ¥23.08 per share, a decline of 16.2% from ¥27.55 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥901.3 million, a decrease of 16.0% from ¥1.07 billion in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.0% from 3.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to ¥29.62 billion from ¥28.52 billion, and total operating expenses rose 5.1% on an annual basis to ¥27.91 billion from ¥26.57 billion.

Reported net income decreased 55.5% on an annual basis to ¥388.8 million, or ¥9.96 per share, from ¥873.4 million, or ¥22.42 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥122.66 per share, a decline from ¥125.33 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥4.79 billion, a rise of 12.7% from ¥4.25 billion in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue rose from the prior-year period to ¥110.21 billion from ¥105.22 billion, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to ¥101.99 billion from ¥97.72 billion.

The company said reported net income increased 14.6% year over year to ¥4.39 billion, or ¥112.39 per share, in the full year, from ¥3.83 billion, or ¥112.97 per share.
