Aena SME Q3 profit climbs 106.7% YOY

Aena SME SA said its normalized net income for the third quarter was €311.9 million, a gain of 106.7% from €150.9 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 28.8% from 15.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 12.8% year over year to €1.07 billion from €947.5 million, and total operating expenses declined from the prior-year period to €489.8 million from €506.9 million.

Reported net income came to €363.6 million, compared with €169.9 million, or €1.13 per share, in the year-earlier period.
