De Grey boosts resource at Mount Berghaus gold prospect to 141,000 ounces

De Grey Mining Ltd. announced a 227% increase in the mineral resource at the Mount Berghaus gold prospect, part of the Turner River project in Western Australia.

The estimate now totals 3.52 million tonnes at 1.2 g/t of gold for 141,000 contained ounces, at a 0.5 g/t gold cutoff, according to a Jan. 25 release.

The previous estimate stood at 900,000 tonnes at 1.4 g/t of gold for 43,000 contained ounces at the same cutoff grade.

The overall Turner River project now hosts 9.7 million tonnes at 1.5 g/t of gold for 464,000 contained ounces, spread over the Wingina, Mount Berghaus and Amanda deposits.
