RedHill Education fiscal H1 profit climbs 74.5% YOY

RedHill Education Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 2 Australian cents per share, an increase of 76.3% from 1 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$625,000, an increase of 74.5% from A$358,130 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue increased 24.7% year over year to A$11.1 million from A$8.9 million, and total operating expenses grew 20.8% year over year to A$9.8 million from A$8.1 million.

Reported net income grew 32.5% year over year to A$729,270, or 2 cents per share, from A$550,280, or 2 cents per share.
