Private equity firm Partners Group raised €2 billion for its third dedicated private real estate secondaries program, hitting its capital-raising target.
Through the program, Partners Group plans to purchase high-quality property portfolios and single real estate assets. The firm said it aims to offer customized asset and portfolio liquidity solutions to property operators, developers and third-party investors in order to support asset-level business plans, or to structure fund recapitalizations with an upcoming fund or debt maturity.
Partners Group raised the capital across Europe, Latin America and Asia, with investors including public and corporate pension plans, corporations, insurance companies, endowment funds and foundations. The firm's founders, partners and other employees, along with Partners Group affiliates, also committed approximately €70 million of the assets raised.
As of the beginning of August, the program was already committed to 15 investments, according to a release.
