New Plus Knitting Q3 profit climbs YOY

New Plus Knitting Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 69 satang per share, an increase from 34 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 6.9 million baht, an increase from 3.4 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 7.7% from 3.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to 90.4 million baht from 89.2 million baht, and total operating expenses fell 8.9% year over year to 76.2 million baht from 83.6 million baht.

Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to 8.8 million baht, or 88 satang per share, from 4.4 million baht, or 44 satang per share.

As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 35.85 baht.
