All unexercised Banca Carige cash call rights sold on 2nd trading day

Banca Carige SpA said the 128,881,133 rights from its capital raising that have been left unexercised by its shareholders were sold by the second trading day.

The rights, which carry entitlements to subscribe for a total of 7,732,867,980 newly issued ordinary shares of the bank, can be used to subscribe for the new shares at a price of 1 euro cent per share, and at an allotment ratio of 60 shares for each right.

Rights purchased must be subscribed for by no later than Dec. 21. New shares arising from the rights' exercise will be credited to the accounts of intermediaries registered with Monte Titoli SpA's centralized securities clearing system at accounting close Dec. 21 and will become available Dec. 22.

Shareholders of the bank subscribed for 66% of the rights on offer, and half of the remaining rights were subscribed on their first day of trading.
