Attijariwafa Bank H1 net income up 4.9% YOY

Moroccan lender Attijariwafa Bank SA reported first-half IFRS consolidated net income group share of 2.93 billion dirhams, up 4.9% from the same period in 2018.

EPS for the half was 13.98 dirhams.

Net banking income rose 4.3% year over year to 11.78 billion dirhams.

Net operating income totaled 5.36 billion dirhams in the half, up 6.7% from a year ago.

Return on equity and assets stood at 14.6% and 1.3%, respectively.

As of Sept. 17, US$1 was equivalent to 9.67 Moroccan dirhams.
