AIG reduces warrant exercise price

American International Group Inc. reduced the exercise price for outstanding warrants of its common stock to $43.09 per share from $43.12 per share.

The number of common shares receivable upon exercise will also increase to 1.046 from 1.045. The adjustments resulted from the board's declaration of a dividend of 32 cents per share, which will be paid Sept. 30 to shareholders of record at the close of business as of Sept. 17.

The adjustments will be effective at the close of business as of Sept. 17, excluding any warrant exercised on or before Sept. 17.
