Banco La Hipotecaria to offer up to US$8M in bonds

Panama's Banco La Hipotecaria SA plans to offer three series of bonds on the Panama stock exchange worth a total of up to US$8 million, the bank said in separate securities filings.

On May 31, the bank will offer 360-day bonds worth up to US$3.0 million at an annual interest rate of 3.875%. The series CDJ bonds will be issued June 2.

Separately, the bank June 9 will offer 360-day bonds worth up to US$1.0 million at an annual interest rate of 3.875%. The series CDH bonds will be issued June 9.

In addition, Banco La Hipotecaria SA will on June 22 offer 360-day bonds worth up to US$4.0 million at at an annual interest rate of 3.875%. The series CDI bonds will be issued June 26.

The bond series are part of the bank's U.S. dollar-denominated negotiable bonds program for up to US$35 million.
