Report: BlackRock names 2 execs to its investment stewardship team

BlackRock Inc. named Tanya Levy-Odom as a director and Shannon Nelson as a vice president to its investment stewardship team, Reuters reported, citing sources with knowledge of the hiring moves.

The investment stewardship team engages with companies on corporate governance matters, according to the report.

Levy-Odom was previously with strategic advisory firm Rose & Co., according to her LinkedIn profile. Nelson was previously with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from June 2015 to March and also worked for BlackRock as an associate in institutional sales from September 2009 to July 2014, according to LinkedIn.
