Zett Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to a loss of ¥6.48 per share, compared with a loss of ¥6.38 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥126.9 million, compared with a loss of ¥125.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 1.5% from negative 1.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 5.0% on an annual basis to ¥8.63 billion from ¥9.08 billion, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to ¥8.84 billion from ¥9.29 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥244.0 million, or a loss of ¥12.46 per share, compared to a loss of ¥227.0 million, or a loss of ¥11.59 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
