Report: Amazon, PayPal discuss payments

Amazon.com Inc. and PayPal Holdings Inc. held talks that focused on letting shoppers use their PayPal accounts to pay for goods on Amazon.com, Bloomberg News reported Jan. 27, citing an interview with PayPal CEO Dan Schulman.

PayPal has 200 million users on its platform, Schulman reportedly said in the interview, adding that the companies have discussed "how to use one another's assets to the mutual benefit of our customers."
