PG&E names senior VP for electric operations

Pacific Gas and Electric Co.'s board elected Michael Lewis as senior vice president for electric operations of the utility, effective Jan. 8. He will succeed Patrick Hogan as a principal executive officer of the utility, and will report directly to the board of directors of the utility.

Hogan plans to retire from the PG&E Corp. utility on Jan. 28.

Lewis served as vice president for electric distribution operations of Pacific Gas and Electric since August 2018. Before joining the company, he served in several leadership roles at Duke Energy Corp. and its Duke Energy Florida LLC subsidiary since 2008.

Lewis will have an annual salary of $450,000 and will receive a one-time promotional cash award of $125,000.
