Asrapport Dining fiscal Q4 profit falls YOY

Asrapport Dining Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥5.01 per share, a decline of 29.3% from ¥7.09 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥103.1 million, a decrease of 24.1% from ¥135.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.4% from 4.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 5.5% on an annual basis to ¥3.00 billion from ¥2.84 billion, and total operating expenses rose 10.1% from the prior-year period to ¥2.80 billion from ¥2.54 billion.

Reported net income fell 96.6% from the prior-year period to ¥5.0 million, or 24 sen per share, from ¥145.6 million, or ¥7.59 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥18.91 per share, an increase of 27.6% from ¥14.82 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥375.1 million, an increase of 33.3% from ¥281.5 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue increased 18.8% year over year to ¥11.17 billion from ¥9.40 billion, and total operating expenses grew 18.5% year over year to ¥10.47 billion from ¥8.83 billion.

The company said reported net income grew 29.4% on an annual basis to ¥389.1 million, or ¥19.61 per share, in the full year, from ¥300.7 million, or ¥15.83 per share.
