Havix Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥18.42 per share, an increase of 26.4% from ¥14.57 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥143.8 million, a gain of 26.4% from ¥113.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.0% from 4.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 5.6% on an annual basis to ¥2.88 billion from ¥2.73 billion, and total operating expenses increased 6.7% on an annual basis to ¥2.72 billion from ¥2.54 billion.
Reported net income rose 28.7% from the prior-year period to ¥148.0 million, or ¥18.96 per share, from ¥115.0 million, or ¥14.73 per share.
As of Feb. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.28.
