Bangkok Dec-Con PCL said its first-quarter normalized net income was 1 satang per share, an increase of 5.6% from 1 satang per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 11.3 million baht, a gain of 14.9% from 9.8 million baht in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 5.8% from 5.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 16.2% year over year to 194.9 million baht from 167.8 million baht, and total operating expenses increased 16.4% year over year to 176.5 million baht from 151.7 million baht.
Reported net income totaled 9.1 million baht, or 1 satang per share, compared to 8.4 million baht, or 1 satang per share, in the prior-year period.
As of May 12, US$1 was equivalent to 33.74 baht.
