PE-owned Myotek Industries buys electronic-components manufacturer Amptech

New Water Capital LP-backed Myotek Industries Inc. purchased Amptech Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

Myotek manufactures LED lighting products for automobiles. New Water invested in Myotek in October 2017. Amptech produces electronics and electrical assemblies.

The deal is intended to augment Myotek's manufacturing capabilities. Myotek plans to expand Amptech's manufacturing facilities in Michigan and Pennsylvania to meet customer demand.

Amptech President Lee Wyatt will remain at the helm.

Boca Raton, Fla.-based New Water targets consumer, retail and industrial-manufacturing and services sector companies with revenues of $30 million to $300 million.
