QV Equities ups final dividend

Australia's QV Equities Ltd. raised its final dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30.

The company declared a fully franked dividend of 2.2 Australian cents per share, up from a prior fiscal year's dividend of 2.1 cents per share.

Including an interim dividend of 2.2 cents per share, QV Equities' total dividend for the fiscal year came to 4.4 cents per share, down from the prior fiscal year's total dividend of 5.2 cents per share.

Excluding the company's special dividend of 1 cent for the prior fiscal year, the total dividend for fiscal 2019 increased from 4.2 cents in the fiscal year prior.

The final dividend is payable Sept. 20 to shareholders on record as of Aug. 29.
