Peugeot SA posted €1.94 billion in profits from continuing operations in 2017, up from €1.53 billion of 2016.
Diluted earnings from continuing operation came in at €2.06 per share in 2017, compared to €1.70 per share in 2016.
Revenue from continuing operations was €65.21 billion in 2017 up from €54.03 billion in the previous year. Peugeot Citroën DS was the top contributor in 2017 with a total of €40.74 billion in revenues, 9.9% higher than the €37.07 billion posted in 2016.
Income attributable to owners was €1.93 billion in 2017, compared to €1.73 billion in the prior year.
The automaker will propose a dividend of 53 euro cents in 2017 for approval at the next shareholders meeting, with a payment date of May 4.
For 2018, the company expects a stable automotive market in Europe, and growth of 4%, 10% and 2% in Latin America, Russia and China, respectively.
