IHS Markit prices offering of additional senior notes due 2029

IHS Markit Ltd. priced an offering of an additional $350 million of its 4.250% senior notes due 2029 at an issue price of 108.036%.

The additional 2029 notes will constitute a further issuance of, and form a single series with, the company's $600 million outstanding 4.250% senior notes due 2029 issued April 8.

The company plans to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay amounts outstanding in respect of the 2018 revolver under its multiyear credit agreement.

IHS Markit will have $950 million of 2029 notes outstanding immediately after giving effect to the issuance of the additional 2029 notes.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering, which is expected to close Aug. 23.
