Cuu Long Fish Q3 profit climbs YOY

Cuu Long Fish JSC said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 452.70 dong per share, a gain from 198.25 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 8.33 billion dong, a gain from 3.64 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.9% from 2.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 67.0% on an annual basis to 284.04 billion dong from 170.07 billion dong, and total operating expenses climbed 64.5% on an annual basis to 263.04 billion dong from 159.89 billion dong.

Reported net income rose year over year to 12.44 billion dong, or 676.00 dong per share, from 5.31 billion dong, or 289.00 dong per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 22,445 dong.
