Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. acquired medical-device maker Rebound Therapeutics Corp. to add to its portfolio of neurosurgical products and therapeutic-focused offerings.
The Irvine, Calif-based Rebound Therapeutics manufactures single-use medical devices for visualization, diagnostic and therapeutic use in neurosurgery.
Plainsboro, N.J.-based Integra, which develops, manufactures and sells surgical implants and medical instruments for use in neurosurgery, extremity reconstruction, orthopedics and general surgery, does not expect the deal to have a material financial impact in 2019.
Integra recently acquired neurosurgical-device maker Arkis BioSciences Inc. in July to enhance its product offerings in neurocritical care.
