Peninsula Mines signals potential off-take deal for Gapyeong graphite project

Peninsula Mines Ltd. said Jan. 9 that its wholly owned subsidiary Korea Graphite Co. Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding with Tera Technos Co. Ltd., a South Korean carbon composite anode material producer for a potential off-take deal.

Under the agreement, an initial testing program will be conducted by Tera Technos on graphite concentrate samples from the explorer's Gapyeong graphite project in South Korea.

Subject to positive results, both parties will use best efforts to negotiate a cooperation and off-take deal, allowing Korea Graphite first priority in supplying flake graphite concentrate to Tera Technos.
