Citadel has hired former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. vice chairman and securities co-head Pablo Salame as head of global credit, the Financial Times reported.
Salame will join the hedge fund later in October, Bloomberg News reported. He will be responsible for developed and emerging market strategies and convertible bond arbitrage activities.
Salame takes over from Ken Griffin, who has been serving as interim head of global credit since Eric Felder left the company earlier in 2019, the FT reported.
A company spokesperson confirmed the hire and details to S&P Global Market Intelligence in an email.
