President Trump is looking to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement by dealing with Canada and Mexico separately, according to the top White House economic adviser.
"His preference now — and he asked me to convey this — is to actually negotiate with Mexico and Canada separately," Larry Kudlow, the director of the National Economic Council, told Fox News. "He prefers bilateral negotiations."
Kudlow went as far as to say Trump "is not going to leave NAFTA," but that, "he's just going to try a different approach," according to The Washington Post.
