Round One Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was a loss of ¥1.45 per share, compared with a loss of ¥1.82 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥138.1 million, compared with a loss of ¥173.8 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 0.7% from negative 0.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose year over year to ¥19.32 billion from ¥18.71 billion, and total operating expenses grew 5.7% on an annual basis to ¥19.59 billion from ¥18.55 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥479.0 million, or a loss of ¥5.03 per share, compared to a loss of ¥3.68 billion, or a loss of ¥38.63 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
