Lloyd's of London names John Neal CEO, succeeding Inga Beale

Former QBE Insurance Group Ltd. head John Neal will take over from Inga Beale as CEO Lloyd's of London on Oct. 15, Lloyd's has confirmed.

The chairman of Lloyd's, Bruce Carnegie-Brown, said one of Neal's priorities would be to oversee the launch of a Lloyd's subsidiary in Brussels, which will serve European customers after the U.K. leaves the EU.

The appointment is subject to approval and consent from the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority.
