John Lewis of Hungerford fiscal H1 loss widens 92.2% YOY

John Lewis of Hungerford PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Feb. 29 was a loss of £245,000, compared with a loss of £127,500 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue grew year over year to £3.6 million from £3.5 million, and total operating expenses grew 7.0% on an annual basis to £4.0 million from £3.7 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of £429,520, or a loss of 0 pence per share, compared to a loss of £205,420, or a loss of 0 pence per share, in the year-earlier period.
