Latin Resources granted 13 mining licenses at Catamarca lithium project

Latin Resources Ltd. was granted 13 of the 14 mining licenses at its Catamarca lithium project in Argentina.

The Catamarca project now holds 21 concessions, comprising 13 mining licenses and eight exploration concessions.

The company said June 5 that it started drill permitting on its lithium projects in the Catamarca province and has already identified a few "exciting targets."

The environmental approval for drilling at the Loma Pelada and Ipizca I prospects is expected to take about two months, the company said.
