Vattenfall signs energy services contract with TuuliWatti

Sweden's Vattenfall AB signed a five-year energy services contract with Finland's TuuliWatti Oy, effective Jan. 1.

The agreement covers forecasting, trading and balancing services for TuuliWatti's entire wind generation in Finland, according to a Jan. 20 company news release.

TuuliWatti has an installed portfolio of 441 MW and annual production of about 1.3 TWh, equivalent to 20% of Finland's yearly wind production in 2019.

The contract also includes the recently completed and subsidy-free Ii Viinamäki wind farm.
