Massey Quick merges with family office founded by former Treasury secretary

Morristown, N.J.-based wealth management and investment consulting firm Massey Quick & Co. LLC merged with William E. Simon & Sons LLC to form Massey Quick Simon & Co. LLC.

William E. Simon & Sons was founded in 1988 by former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury William Simon and his sons. The family office manages all aspects of the financial affairs for the Simon family, including tax, bill paying, financial planning and investment management.

A committee of six managing partners, including Stewart Massey, Les Quick, Peter Simon, Joe Belfatto, Chief Investment Officer Christopher Moore, and COO and Chief Compliance Officer Mark DeLotto, will lead the new company.

Bill Simon will lead Massey Quick Simon's expansion on the West Coast. The company will be headquartered in Morristown and will continue to operate out of the New York offices.
