RBS Q2 profit rises YOY to £1.33B from £96M

Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC reported second-quarter profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of £1.33 billion, compared to £96 million a year earlier.

Litigation and conduct costs dropped year over year to £55 million from £782 million.

For the first half, the British banking group's attributable profit jumped on a yearly basis to £2.04 billion from £888 million.
