Report: National Bank of Oman seeking dollar-denominated bond issue, hires banks

National Bank of Oman SAOG hired banks to organize a string of fixed-income investor meetings as it seeks to issue a five-year U.S. dollar-denominated bond, Reuters reported Sept. 10, citing a document issued by one of the hired banks.

The meetings are slated to begin Sept. 12, with Bank ABC, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, Emirates NBD Capital, First Abu Dhabi Bank, National Bank of Oman and Standard Chartered Bank serving as joint lead managers and book runners for the potential sale.

Additionally, the Omani lender declared a tender offer for its outstanding notes maturing in October 2019 which total $600 million. Citi and Crédit Agricole CIB will serve as coordinators of the tender offer.
