NNB Intressenter AB completed its cash offer for the acquisition of shares in Nordnet AB (publ) and extended the acceptance date for Nordnet shareholders to Feb. 8, Reuters reported Jan. 25.
The offer had been accepted by Nordnet shareholders corresponding to 20.46% share and votes as of Jan. 23, the initial date of acceptance, according to the report.
As a result, NNB Intressenter, Öhman Group and Nordic Capital Fund VIII own and control 93.37% of Nordnet's votes and capital.
On Jan. 9, NNB Intressenter — formed by Nordic Capital to make an offer for Nordnet — revised its offer to 38 Swedish kronor per share, and valued all shares in Nordnet at 6.65 billion kronor.
As of Jan. 24, US$1 was equivalent to 8.84 Swedish kronor.
