Six Sigma granted new prospecting license in Botswana

Six Sigma Metals Ltd. said Jan. 17 that the Department of Mines in Botswana granted it a new prospecting license.

Prospecting license PL389/2018 comprises 40 square kilometers and was granted for an initial three years ending Sept. 30, 2021.

The license is prospective for base metals and gold mineralization and contains at least three historical prospects all showing potential to host nickel sulfide and base metal mineralization. Six Sigma plans to test priority targets in this year's field season.

In October 2018, the company decided not to exercise its option to acquire up to an 80% interest in a vanadium-titanium project and a lithium project in Zimbabwe.
