Heartland Capital Partners raising $25M to build Midwest property portfolio

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Heartland Capital Partners LLC is raising $25 million to build a portfolio of class-A and higher-end class-B properties primarily in the U.S. Midwest.

The private equity real estate fund plans to acquire office, medical, retail, distribution and hotel properties in such cities as Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Neb.; Dallas; Minneapolis; Atlanta; and Phoenix.

Units of the private equity fund are priced at $10,000 apiece.
