Perils puts final loss estimate for cyclone Friederike at €1.67B

Perils AG said its final loss estimate for the insured property market loss from extratropical cyclone Friederike stands at €1.67 billion, down from its previous estimate of €1.68 billion in July 2018.

The storm, also known as David, primarily affected the British Isles, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany on Jan. 17-18, 2018. The majority of the losses occurred in Germany and the Netherlands.
