Italian state lender's chairman to step down

Claudio Costamagna will step down as chairman of Italian state lender Cassa depositi e prestiti SpA, Reuters reported June 5.

He has been serving in the post since July 2015, but said he would not seek another mandate. He is an ex-Goldman Sachs banker, and his departure follows the installation of a populist-led coalition government, Reuters noted.
