French luxury goods maker Kering SA said March 17 that it has appointed Fabrizio Malverdi as CEO of menswear company Brioni, effective April 18.

He will replace Gianluca Flore and report to Kering Group Managing Director Jean-François Palus.

Malverdi was previously CEO of lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur. He also held management positions at Dior Homme, Givenchy and John Galliano.
