Canandaigua National makes management changes, opens wealth office

New York-based Canandaigua National Corp., the parent company of Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Co., disclosed a number of management changes in its 2017 annual report, including the retirement of Steve Swartout as chief administrative officer and corporate counsel in April 2017.

Swartout joined the company in 1983. Jennifer Weidner took over as the company's corporate counsel following Swartout's retirement, and A. Rosamond Zatyko — the company's then-credit administration head took over supervision of the remainder of Swartout's duties, except fiduciary compliance, human resources and oversight of the wealth areas.

According to the company's website, Weidner serves as senior vice president and general counsel, and Zatyko serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

At the end of April 2017, the company named Salvatore Guerrieri as executive vice president for wealth management. In June 2017, Annette Joyce joined the company as executive vice president of technology and project management.

Guerrieri was leading M&T Bank Corp.'s M&T Securities Inc. before he joined Canandaigua National. Joyce has 20 years of business and information technology leadership experience as both a consultant and part of internal management and executive teams in a number of different industries, according to Canandaigua National's website.

In November 2017, Canandaigua National opened a wealth management office at 600 E. Ave. in Rochester, N.Y.
