Dimension Computer Technology Q1 loss narrows YOY

Dimension Computer Technology Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to a loss of 22 Taiwan cents per share, compared with a loss of 26 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of NT$8.5 million, compared with a loss of NT$9.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 2.7% from negative 3.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 13.2% on an annual basis to NT$312.6 million from NT$276.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 11.8% from the prior-year period to NT$326.7 million from NT$292.2 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of NT$13.5 million, or a loss of 35 cents per share, compared to a loss of NT$13.1 million, or a loss of 34 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
